Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to the Canals (September 13)
Arrival: Land at Schiphol Airport, where your private group shuttle awaits to sweep you away to the gorgeous Hotel NH City Centre Amsterdam.
Evening Welcome: Gather in the hotel lobby for a brief meet-and-greet before heading out to a historic, wood-paneled brown café nearby. We’ll kick off our adventure with a welcoming toast, local craft beers, and a platter of authentic, crispy Dutch bitterballen.
Day 2: Flavors of the Jordaan (September 14)
Morning Culinary Walk: Embark on an exclusive culinary walking tour of the Jordaan neighborhood. We’ll bypass the tourist spots to visit generational family-run specialty shops, tasting rich Dutch Gouda, fresh pickled herring (for the brave!), and warm, gooey stroopwafels straight from the iron.
Afternoon Leisure: Spend your afternoon strolling through the Negen Straatjes (Nine Streets), a charming micro-neighborhood of boutique shops, cozy cafes, and scenic bridges right near our hotel.
Day 3: Sunset Cruise & Dutch Cheese Tasting (September 15)
Daytime: Enjoy a relaxed morning to explore at your own pace—perhaps sleep in, enjoy the hotel’s breakfast, or rent a bicycle to ride like a local.
Late Afternoon Private Cruise: Step aboard a private, historic wooden salon boat. As the city lights begin to twinkle on the water, we’ll enjoy an intimate canal cruise paired with a curated tasting of premium Dutch cheeses, boutique wines, and local beers.
Day 4: Masterpieces & Dutch Spirits (September 16)
Morning Art Tour: Skip the long lines with group entry to the world-renowned Rijksmuseum. A local guide will walk us through the stunning galleries housing masterpieces by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Hals.
Afternoon Tasting: Dive into the world of Dutch distilling. We’ll visit a traditional tasting house to learn the history of Jenever (Dutch gin, the precursor to modern gin) and sample a flight of unique local liqueurs.
Day 5: Amsterdam at Your Own Pace (September 17)
Open Day: Today is entirely yours to customize!
Option A: Take a short train ride out to the Zaanse Schans to see the iconic windmills and wooden clog makers.

Day 6: A Grand Farewell (September 18)
Daytime: Last-minute souvenir shopping or a stroll through the bustling Albert Cuyp Market.
Farewell Indonesian Rijsttafel: To celebrate our final night, we’ll gather for a spectacular farewell dinner featuring a traditional Indonesian Rijsttafel (rice table)—a feast of dozens of small, intensely flavorful dishes that represents a major part of Amsterdam’s modern culinary heritage.
